STALKER 2 Devs Prøv at berolige fans, når Epic annoncerer, at spillet kører på UE4

In case you are out of the loop, Epic wrote up a letter that the STALKER 2 devs shared, and it now has fans concerned that the upcoming first-person action-survival title by GSC Game World will be an Epic Games Store timed exclusive.

When multiple developers think it’s cool to be anti-consumer by shoving their games on the Epic Games Store and then blaming fans for not accepting their detrimental ways, many gamers and fans have become cautious in the process.

As a matter of fact, fans have become so leery that many started to question GSC Game World on the notice that Epic wrote and if the upcoming sequel known as STALKER 2 will become a timed exclusive on Timmy’s store.

With that said, here’s the letter that GSC Game World and Epic released to the wild:

Of course, many people waiting for the second FORFØLGER would like to pick it up from whatever storefront they’d like without the game having its availability confined to the place that still has no shopping cart.

In addition to the above, one twitter user expressed the same concern after reading the letter:

After many people followed suit and began saying that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will be an Epic Games Store timed exclusive, the devs came out in full force trying to stifle any speculations about said possibility — almost as if the act is true:

What’s interesting about all of this is that last year on May 24th, 2019, YouTuber Antishnaps (Антишнапс) claimed that a STALKER 2 artist revealed the team is not using the X-Ray engine anymore but Unreal Engine 4.

Seeing that Antishnaps predicted such a thing a long while back and it’s now officially confirmed by the devs, I do wonder if the whole thing about Epic Games’ director of publishing, Sergey Galyonkin, is true in that the game will hit the anti-consumer store?
