Hell Let Loose-video ligner en spirituel efterfølger til våbenbrødre

Black Matter Games revealed a new nine minute gameplay video featuring infantry gameplay from the upcoming first-person shooter powered by the Unreal Engine 4, Helvede Lad Løs. Thematically the game looks like a new photorealistic experience, as far as environmental visuals are concerned.

The new gameplay video features squad versus squad gameplay, where two teams duke it out in a fairly large environment.

The first couple of minutes is just setting up the perimeter and getting into position as they await enemy forces. You can check out the video below.

The squad uses some hardcore tactics to setup the perimeter. Instead of being a standard run-and-gun experience, we begin to see how the enemy units begin flanking and using the outer ridge of the farm to advance.

Helvede Lad Løs plays very much like what one would expect from a next generation Brothers in Arms spil.

Visually the game looks fantastic and the weapon and gun handling is intense and realistic.

We also see a variety of different World War II rifles in play, each with the kind of piercing and cutting sound effects one would expect from a game attempting to maintain realism.

Det er det ikke Battlefield or Call of Duty, though. It’s not one guy just running and gunning through some linear environments. Additionally, if you get hit and you take damage, you can’t just wait it out and let the screen regenerate your health… you’ll have to wait your turn and have a medic help you out.

This new gameplay trailer didn’t just come out of nowhere. Black Matter Games is currently seeking funds for the title over on the Kickstarter side.

They’re looking for a healthy dose of just over $100,000 in order to help bring the game to life. At the moment they’ve only managed $26,000, but they still have about a month to go before the campaign is done.

If you’re tired of Randy Pitchford’s antics from Gearbox Software, and you have no faith that the studio will ever do right by the Brothers in Arms franchise ever again, you can learn more about Helvede Lad Løs and potentially see what support you can give to Black Matter Games to bring to life a spiritual successor to Brothers in Arms.
